What Joy Can Do for You

Joy is key to fruitfulness.

Isaiah 54:1(NLT)
“Sing, O childless woman! Break forth into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, even though you never gave birth to a child. For the woman who could bear no children now has more than all the other women,” says the Lord.

Joy is a crucial ingredient that should be mixed with ‘seed, time’ pre harvest.

Psalms 126: 5
Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.

Joy is what the enemy does not want you to have. In fact, he derives pleasure in seeing you lose your joy.

Joy is tantamount to miraculous manifestations.

Never Be the Same Woman You Were Yesterday.

One big good you could do for yourself as a woman is ‘to grow’. I am talking about real growth, an all round growth; a within and without growth.  A position where you may not be where you want to be but you are not where you used to be. You may not be ‘perfect’ but you are not on that level you used to be.

Be ‘REST’ Assured: 7 Crucial Points on Rest

Introduction:

The Rest I write of is a state of being. It is the type that exudes from within. This rest is not anti-faith nor is it likened to a state of total inactivity.  It is submissive, alert and productive.

You Love Him Nuts, He Loves You Not

You love him – like crazy.

And he does not seem to love you, talk less of losing his mind over you too.

It’s hard to accept.  It’s painful.

Babe, this piece is more about making sure you are ok after this whole ‘crazy love’ thing other than getting him to ‘love you like crazy’ too.

The best thing you can do in this kind of situation is to let this guy be- at peace.

When you are ‘crazy in love’ you could probably act like you are actually crazy, especially if you are the expressive type. You will think crazy, talk crazy and act crazy.  And this is the part when the love of your life finds a way of escape- from you, his former sane friend.  This will definitely happen if he doesn’t feel/see you that way.

What do you do then?

Emotional Captivity

Nobody puts us in it. We put ourselves. We are our own slave masters.

We have handcuffed ourselves with the memory and fantasy of someone who had left us long ago.  We have used our own mouth to say that we cannot be happy with someone else, and concluded in our mind that we might not find another like him. Using our words and thoughts to bind our souls to someone who has probably moved on or who will definitely not come back is like shooting herself in the leg.

Emotional captivity puts one in a state of being, not just emotionally but physically.

Motherous Intentions

One day, I was on my knees praying for myself when the Lord laid upon my heart about my attitude towards my father.  I thought I loved him very much. I thought I had forgiven him for the rough times we went through (I thought it was his entire fault since he is the head of the home and should have set things straight).  The Lord showed me that deep within my heart, I still had a bad attitude towards him.

I then got a clear warning in my spirit that no matter how spiritual I say I am, the way I treat my father is the way I would treat my husband.
