…Shout that people are like the grass that dies away. Their beauty fades as quickly as the beauty of flowers in a field. The grass withers, and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people. The grass withers, and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.Isaiah 40: 6- 8
Beauty will fade, clothes will wear
(and tear sef), and styles will change.
Change is constant. Even times
change. People do change too.
My dear, no condition is permanent.
There’s nothing material that you own
that will last forever, you can only enjoy it for a while. It either fades (spoils
or gets damaged) or you get tired and get rid of it. Even your body will change. And remember it is how you use your body when
you are young that will determine how healthy you are when you are old. Don’t you want to grow old?
This is why you need to really sit
down, think and determine what matters most to you in life and what matters
most in your life. Especially at this time/stage of your life, ask: “What
should be my focus”, “what should I focus my energy on?”
A lack of vision or direction will
make you go wild, not knowing what you want or where you are going. Hence you keep chasing after what does not
matter and you will never be content with what you have. You can’t have everything you want. You won’t
even have everything you need. Even if you have access to things, you will
always want more and just when you think you have the best or you are the best,
you will discover something or someone better.
There’s someone more beautiful than you are,
and there is someone who has that latest Gucci bag. And then what would you do? Hang your self?
We need to learn to be content as
young females, it is highly essential that we are. With contentment you can be
focused and happier.
Always be grateful for what you have,
worry less and never do something outrageous to get what you want. Do not let yourself be trapped by the enemy
making you always looking for or wanting something better just to be or feel that
you are ahead of others.
Be content. Be happy.
