Our current projects are:

Well-fair: This is our seasonal welfare initiative where we enter into communities to cater to the needs of young people. We give gifts (majorly foodstuff, toiletries and wears), offer counseling and hold a brief seminar. 

Let the Girl Dream (LGD): This is a social initiative by She-helpz to address the alarming and growing abuse of the innocent female child. With this initiative, we intend to go into communities (both rural and urban) to address the clueless ‘new generation young mother’ and the ‘girl child’ on how to protect the ‘girl’ from sexual abuse and how to handle sexual abuse. We would also be creating a lot of awareness online and offline, so as to encourage as many individuals to participate in educating all parties involved (the mother and the girl child), even as they go about their everyday lives.

  

LGD is a never ending campaign.

Next…

Well-fair/Let the Girl Dream: This has been planned to hold in April (Easter period) in a community in Lagos state. We intend to educate ‘mother and child’, counsel as many young girls and give as much gifts (that address primary needs) as possible. The theme of this edition is: ‘to enlighten, to inspire and to give’.

Well-fair for kids, December 2017: We enter into a rural community and give gifts to children for their use and consumption during the season and for their use on school resumption in January. Items we intend to give out this year include:

• Ankara materials: will be sown and given out to the kids, to mark the season.

• Children’s clothes (still in good condition)

• Foot wear: Shoes (school & outing), sandals and slippers.

• School wears accessories: socks, belts,

• School Bags

• Stationery: pencils, erasers, school books, sharpeners and likes
