God is a good God and he wants good for you.

You parents- if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly father give good gifts to those who ask him. Matthew 7: 9-11

God loves you and he is good father.

It is advisable to stop worrying about whatever it is that bothers you because God knows and God cares. He wants you to have the solutions to whatever issues you have and answers to whatever questions in your heart.

He wants the best for you.

Today, let’s liberate ourselves from thoughts that have lingered for a while in our minds about whether God wants good to happen to us. If you believe otherwise, then you have believed the enemy- the devil.

God means you well and it is well reiterated in his word. His words are his thoughts towards you. Eradicate whatever doubts you’ve had in your heart regarding the mind of God towards you and replace them with the thoughts outlined below.

Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven’s lights. James 1:17
Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. Matthew 6:32-34

The Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need.  Psalm 23:1

How we praise God, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we belong to Christ. Ephesians1:3

The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it Proverbs 10:22

Meditate continually on the scriptures above. The outcome is that you would begin to see the goodness of God towards you and people around you. You will no longer be caught in the trap of bitterness and uncertainty. Now you can hope and move on.
Meanwhile, I will like us to take note of the following facts:

1.   God loves you and he wants you to be happy. He wants you to get married, to have kids…

2.   God gives good. He is good and wants you to have good. He wants you to have ‘the man you need’, a good marriage…

3.   He won’t let you face any disaster that he has not given you the strength and power to overcome

4.   He is not behind some misfortune or some delay you might be currently experiencing in your life but he would restore if you take it to him

5.   He will show you where to make adjustments in your life so you are able to make progress

6.   Everything will work together for your good. For example, If you are still single then you are not disadvantaged because you have the luxury of making necessary changes  in your life in other to be a better woman and a good wife

7.   If whatever delay or set back you experience is from your own hand, he will help you.  His grace, special favor and mercy are available to you.  They are elements of your salvation.

And this is liberation- to know the real thoughts of your maker towards you.

The Babe and the Spirit

The Role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a babe

And I will ask the father and he will give you another Counselor who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you do, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. John 14: 16-17

Who is the Holy Spirit?
He is the gift of the father to us (Matthew 7:11, Galatians 3:14). He is the spirit of the father in us. He is the Jesus that is presently here with you on earth, so as a believer so you are not alone. The Holy Spirit will never abandon you, as long as you acknowledge his presence in your life, irrespective of what you are going through.

Why the Holy Spirit?

No, I will not abandon you as orphans- I will come to you. John 14: 18

But it is actually best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Counselor won’t come. If I do go away, he will come because I will send him to you. John 16:7

Jesus couldn’t just go and leave us like that. He knows it is difficult to succeed on earth without him. The Holy Spirit keeps us connected to heaven. I don’t know how a believer would live a fulfilled Christian life without the Holy Spirit because he knows and tells us the mind of the father. So you are not an orphan, helpless or hopeless and not knowing what the future holds for her. You’ve got all you need to have right here- The Holy Spirit.

His role in your life – as a woman

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not be presenting his own ideas; he will be telling you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. John 16:13

He guides us. Ladies, He speaks! He speaks what we really need to hear as women.  We need to hear the truth and the right things about ourselves and our future. He speaks as long as you are there.  With the consciousness of the Holy Spirit in your life, it is difficult to be in the dark or confused about what’s going on in your life. The Holy Spirit will only guide you into a brighter future which is very consistent with God’s will for you.

What he’ll do for you:
He is the helper, counselor, encourager and advocate and like Jesus did with the woman by the well:

·        He will counsel you: He will give you the best advice that no man can except by him. If you pay attention, he is constantly speaking to you. You need to develop a relationship with him and grow in this relationship so you could understand him better and communicate with him better. He is a person and he communicates. Remember communication is a two way thing.

·         He will help you: He helps to succeed. He helps to be strong. He helps out of a major heart break. Well, he helps to avoid a major heart break. He recognizes and informs you of a lying bastard, he will prod your heart to let you know that he ain’t right. And many more things that you are probably thinking and wishing he could do for you right now.

·         He will comfort you: He says the most soothing words. He comforts in a way that cannot be explained. His way of comfort is divine while the impact is definitely felt.

·        He will tell you the truth about who you are and where you are going: He is the best person who will tell you about yourself. After all he is the spirit of God and God made you. Don’t let any man lie to you about your future and what it holds; stick with the word of God and the Spirit of God.  These are the most authentic sources of truth. If you want, he could take you on a self discovery journey and you’ll be amazed what he’ll show you, what you’ll discover. After then he’ll take you through a never ending personal transformation process where you’ll shed what’s not and put on what’s hot. Most importantly, you really don’t know what you want, the Holy spirit knows what you need. He’ll help with that.

·       He will teach you: He is the greatest teacher. He‘ll teach you to be a better person. He’ll point out character flaws in a loving way and teach you how to drop them and pick up fine ones.

What you should do/what he wants from you

I believe the Holy Spirit wants you to know him. He wants you to acknowledge him always. Please respect him- He is the spirit of God. He likes to communicate so you need to create time for him and actually engage in a conversation with him. Please he does not like to be grieved. As in, no frustrate am abeg. And NEVER say anything against the Holy Spirit, he doesn’t take that lightly.

Attributes of the Holy Spirit

1.   He represents life hence he’s always likened to the living waters, a perpetual spring (John 4:13)

He is doing his perfect work in your life right now.

We’ll meet again tomorrow. Thanks for coming. *Hugs*

Introduction

Isaiah 61:1-2
The spirit of the sovereign lord is upon me, because the Lord has appointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the broken hearted and to announce that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.

As a believer, I believe the spirit of the Lord is not in me for decoration or to just fill a space. The spirit of the Lord is upon me because I have been appointed to do; to do something. Above all, I have been appointed to spread the good news- word about our lord Jesus Christ. And this goes for every other believer.

Mark16:15
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere.

And this is our first ministry, the ministry of reconciliation.

2Corinthians 5:18
All this newness of life is from God, who has brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him.

 This ministry encompasses:

1.   Bringing good news to the poor
2.   Comforting the broken hearted
3.   Announcing that captives will be released
4.   Announcing that prisoners will be freed
5.   Telling those who mourn that the Lord’s favor has come
6.   And with it the day of God’s anger against their enemies

This is the word for this program. Yes it is online, but the spirit of God is not limited. God will do ALL he says he will do. Liberation week is strictly spirit originated. It was laid upon my heart during my church’s monthly (July edition) fasting and prayer. I had to do it. I am too sure about this.  And I am too sure that the spirit of God is here.  He is here to liberate, to liberate the committed heart from all forms of holds.

I strongly believe that before the end of the week, we will be met at the point of our needs. We will hear good news, be comforted, released if held captive, freed if bound, experience God’s favor and our enemies will taste of the Lord’s anger since they’ve refused to back off.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
