What Joy Can Do for You

Joy is key to fruitfulness.

Isaiah 54:1(NLT)
“Sing, O childless woman! Break forth into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, even though you never gave birth to a child. For the woman who could bear no children now has more than all the other women,” says the Lord.

Joy is a crucial ingredient that should be mixed with ‘seed, time’ pre harvest.

Psalms 126: 5
Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.

Joy is what the enemy does not want you to have. In fact, he derives pleasure in seeing you lose your joy.

Joy is tantamount to miraculous manifestations.

Joy is equal to a good heart and good health.

Joy adds to you, while worry, anger and bitterness take from you.

Fear and sadness will keep you from hearing or seeing the good that’s coming your way.  Worry and bitterness will keep you from being the woman you ought to be and from having what you ought to have.

Joy births!  It enhances and encourages productivity.  Genuine inner peace and joy will contribute to your being a productive and fruitful person both spiritually and physically.

Joy will take you to the place you are meant to be and you want to be.

No man wants to be with a bitter, sad, or angry woman.  A man could be willing to make you happy (or happier), but he is not ready to be with a woman who has chosen to continuously being sad and unhappy irrespective of circumstances.

Better still a man will be glad to be with that woman who exudes joy irrespective of circumstances, no matter what’s happening around or with her.

A survey was carried out on men who had just gotten engaged and these men were asked what attracted them to their fiancĂ©es when they first met and most described their women (whom they have just gotten engaged to) as: Classy, positive, energetic, upbeat, vivacious, bubbly, Nice, friendly, kind, elegant, self assured, poised, full of joy of life, enthusiastic, well mannered and presentable.  They said they were immediately attracted to these women.

Being joyful and confident is a bomber. This is a classic ingredient for being an attractive woman.

No matter what you are going through, no matter the state of things, babes, find your joy.

I’d like to point out that it is not wise to be unmarried and sad. You would be shortchanging yourself.  Some single ladies say, “What is there to be happy about”?

I bet there is so much to be thankful and happy about. If you don’t see good in your life, if you don’t see enough to be thankful and happy for, then no man will see you as someone worthy of being with.

No man really wants to marry a ‘subtraction’, that is, someone who will take from them. They want to marry an ‘addition’, someone who would add to them in one way or the other.  Yes, they are as selfish as we are.  They are thinking beings, remember?

Above all, let your joy be genuine and anchored on your faith.

So: Look without, go on memory lane, thank God for all he’s done and all he would do.  Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you to be thankful and joyful. The Holy Ghost is the force behind true joy.  This joy would exude from within. It is not forced.

With this joy, you would be able to love yourself and your fellow humans.

With this joy, you would be lovable.
